"I don't know how I lived without this service for so long and immediately signed up for a bi-monthly cleaning.  There are a lot of cleaning services out there (including some less expensive, un-bonded, under-the-table arrangements), but Green Cleaning Seattle is hard to beat. Their prices are competitive with other bonded cleaners, they do a fantastic job and they don't ruin the planet in the process."

"Green Cleaning Seattle was highly recommended by my Concierge and I completely agree.  I called on a Thursday was given a quote right away and  had a cleaner scheduled for that following Monday.  It was quick, easy and efficient.  My cleaner showed up when he was scheduled, asked if I had any special requirements, he was great with my two dogs.  I left and came back a few hours later to a sparkling and clean smelling apartment.  They are fantastic!"

"On the first service, Jen was at my home for 7 hours cleaning my one bedroom apartment top to bottom. When she was done, it was all I could do to not cry. I was so grateful for what she gave me - my life back. I hugged her. Yep, I really did. I've had many friends over since and it's been great. Jen now comes once a month so it doesn't get out of hand again."

"Jessi was on time, friendly, and extremely thorough, like a hospital.  It was wonderful to see what she did with her time, the gleaming, brand-new look of the bathrooms.  She did the floors before she left, too.  I can't afford twice monthly cleaning, so will be back in  touch about a two-day deep clean before Christmas. It feels so clean and because of safe products, so secure for my 8-month old granddaughter.  Please make sure Jessi knows how satisfied I am."

Gea, Jeremy cleaned this house better than I have ever had a
professional clean. I actually called my sister to come and see. She was
blown away. And- he was so sweet with the pug. You run a great company-
literally you have no competition - no one is close.
Thank you. It was so peaceful waking up in my house this morning.

Ever feel like it would be nice to know your cleaning company a little better? As a locally owned and operated green cleaning service, we welcome the opportunity to get to know you personally - and offer you the chance to get to know us. We're not strangers. We all live here in Seattle and are engaged in our community - just like you. For those of you we haven't met, we would like to introduce ourselves (see below for a FEW intros from some of our staff!).

Gea, the office manager of Green Cleaning Seattle, started on the path to eco-friendly living 14 years ago at a small organic co-op in OH where she worked as the HABA manager & learned about natural products & trustworthy brands. She spent two summers at Marra Farm & Lettuce Link and expanded her knowledge about organic and sustainable food production. Gea has an MA from Goddard College in Sustainable Education and strives to keep Green Cleaning Seattle connected to the community as a member of Biznik, the GSBA, The Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce, SCORE, & WA CASH. Gea lives in Seattle with her partner, son, three chickens, one white German Shepherd, and a yard full of exotic fruit and nut trees, flowering and fruiting vines, perennial and annual vegetables, berries, and herbs.

Maryone of our green cleaners, was born in Kansas City, but left the day after she graduated high school.  She studied the Humanities in San Francisco, where she graduated with a BA in 2004.  A life-long world traveler, Mary is currently living in Seattle, reading and painting away until her next big adventure.

Hannah, one of our green cleaners, is a native of Modesto, California. Upon her graduation of high school, she headed north to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College in Seattle, where she received her Associates Degree in Theology. She is now a Women's Ministry intern at Calvary Fellowship in Mountlake Terrace and is ready to see where life will take her next.

Ben, one of our green cleaners, originally from Portland, has spent the last 5 years living in Corvallis Oregon working on a BA in History, a minor in economics and a physical therapy option. Ben recently moved to Seattle because of his family in North Seattle. Ben loves sports and music. He was the guitar player of a band while at Oregon State and played water polo at the JC level in San Diego. Aside from part time school, where he is pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy, and working with Green Cleaning Seattle, Ben also coaches youth water polo when he can find the time.

Amy, one of our green cleaners, was born on Beale Air Force Base in California, lived in Texas for most of her life,  and recently embarked on her own, solo adventure to the Seattle area. The sight of Mount Rainer takes her breath away. She is currently attending Highline Community College mainly because she really likes to learn (and is proud to note, now understands the basic workings of the Spanish language). She doesn’t eat any sort of meat and has been a vegetarian for 5 years. She has two pet rats, Poopy and Walter. She also really enjoys the smell of soap & is thrilled to get to use it so often in her work.

Audrey
, one of our green cleaners, was born and raised in Texas. Before moving to Seattle 2 years ago, she spent about 5 years moving around the US mainly pursuing jobs in and around the National Parks, including Yellowstone and Denali. She loves traveling around the world and spent a good part of 2009 traveling throughout New Zealand along with taking a private rafting trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. She received her degree in Parks and Recreation Management from Northern Arizona University. In her spare time she can usually be found skiing, hiking or boating in the mountains around Seattle.

Michael, one of our green cleaners, was born and raised on a ranch in Cody, Wyoming, just outside of Yellowstone National Park. Since graduating high school, he has lived in Florida, New York, and Washington-  an avid traveler and adventurer at heart. He is preparing for his medical billing and coding license at PIMA Medical Institute and can be found on stages nationwide as a Frank Sinatra impersonator. In his free time you can find him tinkering on his computer, painting, playing guitar, or longboarding on Alki, always with his faithful Min Pin, Carter, by his side.
